Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord features an expansive open world, numerous factions, and an intricate medieval combat system. It already has more immersive potential, more graphically sound and is still lots of fun but it's mechanics are not as refined as Warband is currently. It appears to be a bit harder, though (more realistic?), but that might just be me. There are still bugs and many perks not working. I think it's worth the money, and it will only get better. Most of the bugs have been worked out, and there are hundreds of working mods. It's very fun, even though it is only pre-release. I would first get into the mods and see if you enjoy them. But if you haven't played all the mods on Warband (full invasion, the last days of the third age, Floris, etc). It's a great game though not totally finished. Everything I see with Bannerlord leans further in that same direction, where a lot of it is "technically better", but I don't like it. Personally, I liked original M&B's overall direction and world design better than Warband's, although Warband definitely added features and fixed several problems. You're now clear to play the game as usual.Extract the file in the Modules folder using a program like 7-zip or WinRAR.

After you've done that, go to the Native module and copy-paste all the files into your new module. To make a new mod, simply create a new folder in the Modules folder and name it whatever you'd like.
The Native module is the original Mount & Blade: Warband. Warband is far more complete at the moment compared to bannerlord so it might be a good idea to just play that until bannerlord is in a more finished state.
